Welcome to 24 Saxe-Coburg Place in the heart of Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh.

With a couple of acres of grass and tall broadleaf trees in the central garden and a no through road, Saxe Coburg Place is one of the most pleasant and quiet Georgian squares in Edinburgh.

This beautifully presented self contained accommodation is run by Diana McMicking. There are three bedrooms on the lower-ground garden-level floor especially for bed and breakfast guests. Access is by stone steps to the small courtyard and guests’ front door. Tall people will especially enjoy staying in the double bedroom. It has a seven foot long bed, a long bath and tall shower!

The property dates back to the early 19th century and boasts many period features. A fifteen minute walk will take you through Edinburgh’s Georgian New Town to Princes Street. If you want to take the bus there’s a regular 5 minute service from the bus-stop 200 yards away. There’s metered parking in the square and free parking approximately 20 minutes walk away.

A delicious continental breakfast awaits you when you arise which is served in the dining area or in the garden if the weather allows!
